Frequently asked questions about my tailored German translation services

How much will my project cost?

For me, every single client is unique, as is every project.

I want to make totally sure my quotes are precisely made to measure for everyone I work with, so if you’d like to know how much the investment in your German content will be, just send me a quick email letting me know the details of your project.
I’ll get back to you, quick smart, to ask you anything else I need to know to create a no-obligation quote, designed to suit your needs exactly.

Good communication with my clients is my top priority, so if anything is unclear, I’m always just an email away.

How long will my project take?

Good question, but sadly, this is another one that doesn’t have a one-size-fits-all answer.
How long your Spanish, Italian or English into German transcreation, translation or editing project will take will depend on all kinds of factors, including the word count and subject matter.

That being said, my existing clients know I’m nothing if not efficient and speedy, and often deliver before the agreed deadline.

To find out when you could expect delivery of your project, send me the details (and ideally the document in question), and I’ll let you know the estimated timeline.

Why don’t you translate into English, Spanish or Italian?

The world of translation can be a confusing one for those who haven’t come across it before, and I’m often asked whether I can translate from German into my other languages as a professional German freelance translator.
The answer, in my case, is no. And generally, the rule of thumb in the translation universe is that professionals only translate into their mother tongue.

Why? Well, my marketing translation services are based on my writing skills in German. I can create culturally adapted copy in German because I live and breathe German culture, and always have done.

I’m fascinated by its quirks, and love nothing better than translating my three acquired languages, each of which has its own unique personality and cultural factors, into my native language, in a way that feels so natural, no one would guess it’s a translation.
